11-08-2025 Somatic Spellwork: Softening Into The Binds

The world we want lies on the other side of risk: only by making different choices and trying new things in our relationships and creative lives will we usher her into being. But, for those of us with embodiment trauma (whether due to childhood trauma, neurodivergence, gender identity, disability, and/or chronic illness), the prospect of stepping into the unknown brings a fear of discomfort that too often stops us in our tracks before we can even begin. How can we practice taking bold & daring creative & relational risks towards possible futures without freeze, overwhelm, or burnout? Enter Somatic Spellwork: an archetypal and elemental framework of nervous system magic for trauma repair and embodiment that makes this process tangible and accessible.

Event: 12 - 2 PM PST

Location: Zoom

In this 2-hour workshop, we will:

• Meet with the archetype of The Hanged One as inspiration and invitation to soften into the discomfort of change.
• Learn the four steps of Somatic Spellwork to create the conditions in which our nervous systems can choose to say yes to those dreams and desires our souls long for.
• Use magic to finally and fully meet our developmental & relational needs that have gone unmet since childhood.
• Practice integrating new experiences in a way that transforms deep-seated nervous system patterns of protection into patterns of connection.

This workshop will include group discussion, personal reflection, and guided ritual.

In preparation for the workshop, please gather the following items:

• Your favorite tarot or oracle deck
• A small selection of your favorite sacred objects, potions, candles, and/or incense to create your ritual space
• Pen and paper or a journal

• Snacks and/or beverages for nourishment and hydration
• A cozy, supportive space in which to be guided in gentle breathwork and visualization (sitting or laying down)

This live, online workshop will be recorded. A replay will be available for 30 days and sent out to all registered participants.

Technical difficulties on the attendees end (sound issues, tardiness, wifi connection, video cut out, etc.) do not entitle attendees to a refund. We recommend signing on 10 minutes early to sort out any issues.

Seagrape does not offer guidance around computer or Zoom usage, though we do send out a link including instructions on how to use Zoom two days prior to all workshops.

Honor the privacy of others; what is said and shared in a workshop is not meant to share outside of the workshop except for what instructors give permission to share.

Seagrape Apothecary Cancellation Policy:

All tickets are nonrefundable.

If Seagrape Apothecary reschedules a workshop or class and an attendee cannot attend the rescheduled workshop or class, a class credit for the ticket value will be issued and will be valid for 1 year from the date of cancellation.

If Seagrape Apothecary cancels a workshop or class, attendees will get the choice between class credit or a Seagrape Apothecary gift card. If class credit is chosen, a credit for the ticket value will be issued and will be valid for 1 year from the date of cancellation. If the gift card is chosen, a digital gift card worth the ticket value will be shared via email and valid for 1 year from the date of cancellation.

If an attendee is a no-show to a class, no credit will be given.

COVID Exceptions: If an attendee tests positive for COVID and reaches out prior to an in-person class to let us know, a class credit for the ticket value will be issued and will be valid for 1 year.
