The way that Rue grounds magical practice in self-care, daily ritual, the seasons, and the moon, and encourages me to trust my own intuition, has helped me get back in touch with my inner power that so often feels lost, unmoored, or squashed. Rue didn't teach me how to be magical--even better, they showed me that I already am! Rue & the Seagrape community make magic so accessible, which makes for an incredibly inclusive, welcoming environment where I feel safe to be vulnerable and be myself because there wasn't any need to "prove" myself before being let into the fold. I'm so, so grateful that I found this community when I did--it has helped me to feel less isolated and helpless because it helped me reconnect to myself and to other magically-minded babes.

Pleasure Filled Year felt like a deep dive into issues surrounding pleasure. There was just the right amount of information and discussion and homework without it getting overwhelming. I loved the learning, the sharing and stretching into new ideas and ways of moving through the world.

Every one of Rue's classes absolutely hit. They seemed to have an uncanny knack for delving exactly into what was vexing me. Our round tables and every meeting with my accountability buddy were moments of glee. Also, all of the baths and the licence to wank at will!

Rue reminds you to slow down and appreciate your magical self and life, in all its forms. They provide ideas and material that allows ritual and pleasure to become a natural part of your everyday life. The work they do inspires you to cultivate a life of desire and delight, and her encouragement and support is felt when you arrive home in your body and mind.

Rue was calm and clear and able to detach from reactionary responses. I was often impressed with how they were able to hold space for different things that were coming up in discussion. They had a knack for sprinkling in just the right amount of personal stories without making it about them. And they seemed to meet each person right where they were.

I think Confidence was my fav module because it helped me narrow down my values. Discovering and understanding my values, and beginning to understand those of my partner and friends, has brought SO MUCH clarity to my decisions and goals, as well as my relationships.

My advice to those considering this program is DO IT. Yes, cost is a concern, it’s a time commitment and will take devotion and engagement, but it’s worth EVERY DOLLAR, MINUTE, and EFFORT spent. If you are looking to develop a self-care/self-love practice that’s sustainable and develops your witchy practices, this is definitely a right fit.

I had accepted that my magical path would be solo. It is the most tender part of my being, and I've never found a safe place to share that with others. Finding the Seagrape community is like a breath of fresh air. I deleted Facebook a few months ago and replaced it with Seagrape's warm, supportive, and inspiring platform. Being a solo practitioner is great, but having the support of a community and offerings of fresh ideas, recipes, and playlists- well it's like finding a warm hearth on a winter's day. Rue's Pleasure Workshop was equally satisfying and provided an intimate and interactive setting for personal growth.
