The earth is waking up! 🌱 The Spring Equinox marks a pivotal point in the year where day and night are in perfect equilibrium, signaling the transition from the introspective depths of winter to the vibrant blossoming of spring.
Join Portland Girls Gays & Theys for an evening of crafting, magic, and mingling, as we celebrate the Spring Equinox! Make some sweet magic with other witchy babes at this in-person community gathering where we'll chat about the magic of Spring Clearing, make our own spelled smoke bundles!
The Spring Equinox is the perfect time to dive into cleansing magic & embrance this transitional period of renewal and rebirth.
The event will begin with a 30 minute talk on creating rituals for spring cleaning and magical tools of cleansing. Afterwards, we'll mingle, snack and do a spelled smoke bundle craft!
Date: Saturday, March 21st
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: Seagrape Apothecary, 2823 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR 97232
Make sure to bring:
- Whatever herbs you'd like to use in your smoke bundle (see some recs below)
- Your favorite spring snack, bevvie, or treat to share
- A mask! (masks are required from 5-6pm & optional from 6-7pm)
- Whatever else you need to get comfy and sink into pleasure!
Here are some clearing herbs that would be great in these bundles:
- Cedar - ancestral support & protection
- Rosemary - moving stagnation & boosting mental clarity
- Pine - refreshment & mental clarity
- Mugwort - opening psychic channels & ancestral support
- Lavender - calm & love
- Juniper - grounding & healing
- Eucalyptus - clarity & renewal
- Rose - love & self-care
- Garden Sage - wisdom & restoration
- Peppermint - healing & prosperity

- Please bring a mask with you! Masks are required from 5-6PM and optional from 6-7 PM. To keep our community safe, we ask that everyone wear during this time when not actively eating and drinking. If you're experiencing any COVID symptoms prior to the gathering, please do not attend the gathering.
