12-14-2024 Co-Creating the Year with Tarot *In-Person*

Join us for a journey into the rhythms and themes of 2025, guided by the 12 tarot cards of the zodiac and your personal and collective numerological year cards. We will chart the energies of each month and learn to partner with them to co-create the year we need using bespoke tarot spreads, reflections, and journaling prompts. Because tarot isn't just for telling the future: it's for creating it.

In this hybrid class led by Charlie Claire Burgess, participants will leave with:

  • An introduction to the astrology of tarot
  • Your personal Tarot Wheel of the Year chart
  • Your personal year card and how to calculate it
  • The knowledge of how to partner with tarot energies for navigating and co-creating your year
  • A PDF of tarot spreads, prompts, and activities for use throughout 2025

    This class is appropriate for those with basic knowledge of tarot and astrology, i.e. some familiarity with the Major Arcana and the 12 astrological signs (Aries, Taurus, etc.). No advanced knowledge required.

In preparation for the workshop, please gather the following items:

  • Your favorite tarot deck (or snag a sample deck from the shop to use if you're attending in person!)
  • A pen and paper for note-taking
  • Snacks and drinks for nourishment!


For those attending IN PERSON:

We'll be gathering together at Seagrape Apothecary from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Please arrive a little early to get settled in. For the sake of the container we're holding, and to minimize distractions, we'll be locking the doors 10 minutes after class starts. Please keep this in mind while making travel arrangements!

Seagrape Apothecary is now located at 2823 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97232. Please DO NOT park in the Centaur Guitar parking lot! There's residential parking available just one block away, and a bus stop directly in front of the store for folks taking public transit.

A Zoom invitation for the live event will be emailed to you 48 hours before the gathering. Keep an eye on your inbox for the link! Those who can't make it to this magical gathering at the time of the event will have access to the recording for 30 days.

NOTES:

This is a hybrid offering, with options for virtual and in-person attendance. The in-person gathering will be recorded, and all tickets include a link to the recording of the event, available for 30 days.

The workshop recording may be offered for sale on the Seagrape Apothecary website. By registering for this event, you consent to any use of this recording by Seagrape Apothecary.

Please bring a mask with you! You will be asked to wear your mask throughout class. If you're experiencing any COVID symptoms prior to the gathering, please do not attend the gathering.

If you've registered for an in-person ticket and are unable to attend the event for any reason, please contact us at events@seagrapeapothecary.com up until 24 hours before the event to swap your ticket for a digital-only attendance ticket so we can make room for other folks looking to join the magic in person!

We use Zoom for online workshops—please have the app downloaded if using a phone.

Enrollment is accepted up until the day of the event.

Technical difficulties on the attendees' end (sound issues, tardiness, wifi connection, video cut out, etc.) do not entitle attendees to a refund. We recommend signing on 10 minutes early to sort out any issues.

Seagrape does not offer guidance around computer or Zoom usage, though we do send out a link including instructions on how to use Zoom 24 hours prior to all workshops.
