Harold Roth is a leading authority on plant/herbal magic. His new book, The Witching Herbs, is an in-depth exploration of 13 essential plants and herbs most closely associated with witchcraft--13 because it's the witching number and reflects the 13 months of the lunar calendar. The plants are poppy, clary sage, yarrow, rue, hyssop, vervain, mugwort, wormwood, datura, wild tobacco, henbane, belladonna, and mandrake.
Roth writes simply and clearly on a vast amount of esoteric information that is not easily found elsewhere and will be greeted enthusiastically by those who already have extensive experience and libraries. It is unique in that it combines mysticism with practical instructions for growing each plant, based on Roth's 30 years of gardening expertise. Each chapter focuses on one plant and includes information on its unique plant spirit familiar, clear how-to instructions for magical projects, and pragmatic information on growing and cultivating.
Roth writes, "This book is a great choice for intermediate-to-advanced witches who would like to work more closely with the traditional witching herbs, especially the baneful plants with their rather difficult spirits. Working directly with spirits is one of the fundamentals of the Craft."
The Witching Herbs is the essential plant-worker's guide. Roth is not only a successful gardener, but also a magician and scholar of the occult. No other book blends clear, practical gardening techniques with equally lucid and sophisticated plant magic so successfully.

Spellcrafting: A Beginner’s Guide to Creating and Casting Effective Spells
A practical and accessible guide with everything you need to know to craft and cast spells that really work.
A spell, which some refer to as a Witch’s prayer, is something nearly anyone can learn.
One does not need to be initiated into any mystery cults, swear an oath of dedication to any god or goddess, denounce or convert to any religion, or even wear the label of a Witch or Wiccan in order to be a spell crafter. But among the things that are required, the most important ones are an open mind, true desire, and the will, patience, self-conviction, and courage to follow what is within one’s heart, and the maturity to take responsibility for one’s own actions.
Once you gain an understanding of how magickal energy works and learn the secrets to casting spells, you will be able to tap into your inner powers, focus, and direct them utilizing simple items found in the average home or easily purchased at the nearest occult shop. In fact, many of the herbs and other ingredients called for in spells can be found right in your very own kitchen!
The casting of spells is an ancient art that has played an important role in many of the cultures and religions throughout the world. This book is designed to be a guide to the history, philosophy, ethics, and practical application of spell crafting. Written with the novice-to-intermediate student in mind, it covers all areas of folk magick in an explorative and unbiased manner.

Better Than I Ever Expected: Straight Talk About Sex After Sixty
Better Than I Ever Expected is a warm, witty, and honest book that contends with the challenges and celebrates the delights of older-life sexuality. It asserts that women over sixty are at the top of their game when it comes to enjoying sex. Joan Price’s woman-to-woman straight talk transcends the self-help style of other books in this field. Yes, there are challenges to sex after menopause and beyond, says Price, but there are also creative solutions. She is on a mission to let women her age and older know that they can, in fact, have the best sex of their lives. Price gets personal and stays positive, combining her own story with candid comments, tips, and sassy tales from sexually seasoned women. She acknowledges the gritty issues that older women confront in their sexual lives, noting that it’s not easy, but it certainly isn’t over. At age 61, Price is newly engaged to the man she’s been looking for her whole life. Her discovery of how great “well-seasoned” sex can be was the inspiration for this book. Sidebars present candid and friendly sex tips; fitness, exercise, and lifestyle information; and women's erotic vignettes—both real-life experiences and fantasies.

21 Divisions: Mysteries and Magic of Dominican Voodoo
One of the first books to explore the unique tradition of Dominican shamanism, the magical practices called the 21 Divisions.
Like all forms of Caribbean Voodoo, practitioners of the 21 Divisions believe in one God, a distant God that doesn’t get involved in human affairs. Followers of this Dominican spiritual tradition believe that God created intermediaries to help humans, beings known as Los Misterios.
The Misterios are powerful beings with rulership and dominion over universal forces and human conditions. Practitioners of the 21 Divisions have ways of connecting with the Misterios to achieve success in life, improve their careers, resolve love and relationship issues, heal illness, and much more.
Filled with detailed insider information and real stories of healing, magic, and mystery, this book will serve as an illuminating guide to the 21 Divisions. Hector Salva―one of the foremost authorities on the practice of the 21 Divisions―offers his insights into:
The history and foundations of Dominican Voodoo
The major Misterios, or spirits, of the 21 Divisions
Ceremonies, rituals, and magical spells
