03-05-2022 - Self-Devotion: Waking Up Our Magic & The Arrival of Spring

Inside each of us exists an altar through which our magic moves and on which our spells churn. It is where the witch gathers resolve and fortifies their relationship with themselves and their craft. Our inner altar is a place where we can go to access our ancestral selves, draw up our inher- ent wisdom, communicate with our magic, and harness energy from our elemental nature. This meditation uses scrying—a form of divination that utilizes natural elements such as water, fire, smoke, and crystals as conduits to insight—to access your inner altar. By gazing into their own living ele- ments, a witch can access all the information they need.

As Spring arrives, its magic stirs within us an invitation to recommit to a curious relationship with ourselves and our goals for the year ahead. Spring asks us to be clever in the ways we apply our magic to our relationship with the world; encouraging us to trust our experience while also opening up to alternative possibilities. The season of spring brings a fresh air to our altars and a generosity of openings to explore new opportunities within and in the world around us. In this workshop we will explore ways to honor and harness the magic of Spring.

The magic in this workshop will provide practical witching work to help you:

  • Differentiate between your Intuition, Instinct, & Emotions
  • Explore & tend to your inner altar
  • Activate & explore your Witch’s Gaze
  • Build upon foundational Psychic Skills
  • Empower your intentions through simple charms & chants

Ritual and spell work for this workshop will be drawn from The Living Altar Oracle Deck co-authored with Kiki Robinson, as well as Ylva Mara’s grimoire:
