11-07-2021 - Autumn Plant Magic: Spirits Of The Liminal

Join Liz of Sister Spinster in welcoming the magical and varied spirits of Autumn.

In this workshop, we will explore the magical properties and folklore of plants for the altar and personal ritual during this time of the "thinning veil," diving into the world of plants that help us to say YES to settling in and greeting the spirits of this season.

We will also meet some tree guardians of the underworld such as Cottonwood, Cedar and Elder. Focusing on nourishing our vitality, we will cover foods and medicinal herbs that help support the body as we descend into winter.

All participants will receive a special PDF from Liz including recipes and guidance pertaining to this workshop, as well as a replay link.

As a western clinical herbalist and magic maker she believes in affordable, accessible, community-based health care and the healing power of plants. She came to the herbal path through her own healing crisis as well as a frustration with the loss of ancestral wisdom and privatization of health care in the United States.
