06-04-2022 - Inviting Summer Sensuality Into Your Magical Practice
Just like the sultry Fires of Summer, Magic is inherently sensual. The power of the Witch is sourced from the undulation of the elements, pulsing through our lives. Harnessing this energy is a foundational technique, useful in fueling and empowering any ritual and spell. Particularly those centering healing, manifestation, growth, protection, boundaries, and empowerment.
Accessing the pulse of the elements within the body allows the Witch to draw and focus Universal energy into their altars with more potency. It’s important to note that this workshop will be a non-sexual, non-play centered exploration of foundational principles of Queer Eroticism as a conduit for raising, focusing, and casting magical energy.
Because this work will be intentionally activating our relationship with sensuality and sexuality, it is important to arrive at this workshop with what necessary support systems for your self care and accountability already in place.
All objectives in this workshop will be self focused, although raising energy in collective will effect the collective energy, it is not the intention of this particular workshop to directly nor un/intentionally work with the energy of other participants. Partners are encouraged to attend.
Concepts we will explore:
- Consent Magic; exploring ritual eroticism with boundaries between self, entities, & realms
- Raising and Harnessing the Erotic Magic of the Elements of Earth, Air, Fire, & Water
- Exploring your Inner Pleasure Temple; ways of harnessing self-sensual energy to empower our rituals.
NOTE: This workshop will be centering and prioritizing the attendance, questions, & conversations of trans, gender non-binary, queers, and holds space for the gorgeous complexity of sexuality. This means the content will be presented in a way that intentionally reframes the narrative away from cis/het normative sexuality and will be held outside of the constrictions of the binary. We will also be disrupting conventional held beliefs of monogamy as normative. Cis/Het allies and partners are welcome to attend if they are willing to commit to decentering their experience and expectations.
Ritual and spell work for this workshop will be drawn from The Living Altar Oracle Deck co-authored with Kiki Robinson, as well as Ylva Mara’s grimoire:

I am a traditional witch, published author, artist, and herbalist. I am also a non-binary trans femme and a survivor of childhood incest and sexual assault. I currently live on unceded Duwamish and Coast Salish land, now named Seattle. I’m a white person of Slavic, Balkan, Romani, and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. My ritual and art practice are intrinsically woven together; I believe that magic is art and that art is healing. Through art as ritual I attempt to explore and ground my experience living within diaspora as someone who also lives with CPTSD, Autism, and chronic illness. Find more about my work:
